Summary:

The role of Marketing Specialist is an integral part of the development and execution of marketing plans to increase sales growth, reach targets and promote brand awareness.

Reports to: Vice President — Business Developer

Duties & Responsibilities:

Primary
  • Assist team members with daily marketing tasks and coordinate marketing projects and activities as assigned
     
  • Support in-house marketing and design team activities by coordinating and collating content
     
  • Assist in outbound or inbound marketing activities by demonstrating expertise in various areas (content development and optimization, graphic design, photography, web design/optimization, social media campaigns)
     
  • Establish tracking mechanisms to analyze marketing data (campaign results, conversion rates, web traffic, etc.) to help shape future marketing strategies
     
  • Assist with market research activities by tracking consumer habits and competitor activity (monitoring market changes and marketing mix used by competitors)
     
  • Brainstorm and develop ideas with the marketing team for creative marketing campaigns
     
  • Liaise with external vendors to execute promotional events, campaigns and exhibition related activities
     
  • Collaborate with marketing and other team members to coordinate targeted brand awareness campaigns
     
  • Undertake individual tasks of a marketing plan as assigned
     
  • Organize the production of branded items such as company literature and merchandise
     
  • Produce clear and concise written correspondence in the form of letters and e-mails

Qualifications:

  • EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: BS or BA in Marketing or Business related discipline (or equivalent work experience). Previous experience in a marketing or sales environment preferred.
     
  • ANALYTICAL SKILLS: Ability to review data, evaluate it and refine it down to key facts and action points that can be shared with the team. Strong content proofing skills.
     
  • COMPUTER SKILLS: Adept with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook). Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop) preferred. Ability to learn new applications quickly and easily.
     
  • ORGANIZATIONAL SKILLS: Exceptional organizational and follow-up skills are required.
     
  • COMMUNICATION SKILLS: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively within all functional levels and areas of the organization.
     
  • APTITUDES: Position requires the ability to exercise independent judgment and willingness to get the job done. Strong research skills with the ability to gather and analyze data for translation into meaningful information for team members and customers. Job Title:

*NEW* - Customer Service Representative

Summary:

Provide customer support to Centaur Division customers, both internal and external, to build and maintain customer relationships.

Department: Centaur
Reports to: National Sales Manager

Duties & Responsibilities:

Primary
  • This position has primary responsibility for answering calls to the division’s toll-free number and will handle approximately 50% or more of incoming call volume.
     
  • Provide accurate verbal and written quotes to customers. Follow-up on outstanding quotes in a timely manner, involving the appropriate Sales Manager or Regional Manager as needed.
     
  • Provide accurate order status information as requested by customers and National Sales Manager.
     
  • Accurate and timely entry of orders for resellers, direct sales and other customer groups as assigned.  Orders are to be entered no later than 4 business hours from receipt.
     
  • Ensure accurate processing of Centaur orders, to include obtaining customer verification of custom specifications, preparing drawings and appropriate documentation for production, and following-up as needed.
     
  • Serve as primary end-user contact regarding warranty issues; process warranty replacement orders.
     
  • Assists Accounts Receivable department personnel in researching and resolving claims, credits and debits related to domestic accounts.
     
  • Maintain customer order files.
     
  • Assist National Sales Manager in researching accounts, sales performance analysis, preparing sales presentations.
     
  • Any other duties and/or functions as required for the achievement of departmental and company goals.

Qualifications:

Job Title:

Summary:

The role of Sample Clerk provides support to marketing and operations functions through the creation of branded product collateral to increase sales for existing and potential customers.  

Department: Marketing
Reports to: Customer Service/Sales Service Manager

Duties & Responsibilities:

Primary
  • Prioritize and fulfill sample orders – package, label, ship all sample orders.
     
  • Transfer all complete orders to shipping area for FedEx pick up
     
  • Maintain daily report of all sample orders/shipments
     
  • Enter and resolve all shipped sample orders in Epicor (daily)
     
  • Request manufactured product/materials from inventory specialist
     
  • Request purchased items, packaging, office supplies, tools, product labels, etc., from purchasing dept.
     
  • Maintain and organize inventory of cut samples and purchased items; set min/max levels
     
  • Follow-up and monitor open orders; retrieve orders from shipping department
     
  • Collaborate with marketing on new products, discontinued items, sample kits, presentations
     
  • Maintain and utilize FedEx system/program updates as needed
     
  • Report maintenance needed for equipment, tools and die boards
     
  • Submit work orders to maintenance for assistance with specialty items (ex: metal/aluminum hardware)
     
  • Request literature and specialty collateral from sales/customer service
     
  • Maintain and organize racking systems; standard area housekeeping
     
  • Stock cut materials in advance
     
  • Stamp/Cut all in-house orders of 12x19 deskpads
     
  • Deliver final product to packing area for packaging/shipping (small deskpads only)
     
  • Report production for 12x19 deskpads (to inventory specialist)
     
  • Pallet jack and forklift use; as needed
     
  • Complete safety “toolbox” assessments regularly

  • Checks dimensions for accuracy (including width, gauge and length).

  • Positions and secures labels on products. Checks labels for accuracy.

  • Able to verify quality of product by camber and air checks.

  • Moves controls to position tool and workpiece in relation to each other, and to set specified feeds, speeds, and depth of cut.

  • Observes operation of machine and verifies conformance of machined workpiece to specifications.

  • Provide accurate daily production reports.

Summary:

Responsible for supplying operators with material and packaging supplies, helping operators start up, shut down machines and help package and inspect products when necessary.  Relieves operators for breaks, weighing, tagging and segregating materials, operating granulators safely and efficiently, cleaning and care of plant.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Primary
  • Reads work order or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials, containers or products to be moved.  Opens containers.  Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand and/or moving devices/machines.

  • Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated area. Secures lifting attachments to materials and conveys load to destination or signals forklift drivers or hoisting operators to move load to destination.

  • Counts, weighs, and records number of units of materials moved or handled on daily production sheet. Stacks or assembles materials into bundles and bands bundles together. Attached identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases, batches, or other containers.

  • Clamps sections of portable conveyor together or places conveyor sections on blocks or boxes to facilitate movement of materials or products. Removes samples of materials, labels with identifying information, and takes samples to compound for analysis.

  • Lifts heavy objects by hand or with power hoist, and cleans work area, machines, and equipment to assist machine operators. Makes simple adjustments or repairs such as realigning belts or replacing rollers.
