Job Title

Shipping Clerk

Summary

Verifies and keeps records on all scheduling of truck line shipments and data entry records regarding shipments which are incoming and outgoing by performing the following duties:

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Process all picking tickets and necessary labels, sorting and placing in proper pick bin.
  • Taking care of all special or rush orders that require speciat handling and getting them to supervision or proper person.
  • Assist customer service in changes or modifications to orders which usually require cancel B.O.L. and reprinting picking tickets with follow through to assure that duplicate orders do not exist and that the changes were handled correctly.
  • Printing B.O.L.'s and delivering to the shipping floor
  • Schedules all LTL carriers for respective pick ups
  • Maintains all files of picking tickets and B.O.L.'s
  • Responds to all exceptions to orders from customer service and communicates regularly to the shipping floor so the exceptions are handled properly and orders leave on time.
  • Takes care of late shipment report and follow up with supervisor to assure that all shipments are accounted for and that any that will be late are properly coded when the receiving clerk is not available.
  • Forwards all warranty orders to customer service with freight costs when the receiving clerk is absent.
  • Ability to audit and process all type freight invoices completely.
  • Be able to schedule all trucks, set appointments, and follow through with the loading of all orders.
  • Have knowledge of UPS and Fed-Ex manifest machine.
  • Assist when necessary on the receipt of plant deliveries and disposition of items, entry, and forwarding of all necessary paperwork.
  • Any other shipping, receiving, and warehouse related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or equivalent; college preferred. Minimum of 1 year experience in shipping related field, preferably manufacturing environment.
  • COMPUTER SKI LLS: Excellent computer skills a must. Prefer experience in AS400, UPS, Microsoft Office, and Internet experience.
  • COMMUNICATION SKILLS: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to handle problems diplomatically. Professional phone "presence" is an absolute must.
  • ORGANIZATIONAL: Excellent organizational and follow-up skills required.
  • PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of, but not limited to, those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Must be able to lift up to 25 Ibs. on occasion. Long periods of sitting/standing required.
  • WORK ENVIRONMENT: Must be able to work independently as well as excel in a team atmosphere.

Job Title:

Material Handler

Summary:

Responsible for supplying operators with material and packaging supplies through work orders or oral instructions. Loading and unloading material by hand and/or moving devices/machines. Helping operators start up, shut down, and help package and inspect products when necessary. Completion of daily production sheets through counts and measurements, weighing, tagging and segregating materials. Operating granulators safely and efficiently. Assist machine operators and relieve operators for breaks. Cleaning and care of plant.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED preferred.
  • Must be able to read and write English.
  • Good verbal communication a must.
  • Must have ability to lift 60 lbs repetitively; 100 lbs on occasional basis; up to 200 lbs lateral pull on winder shaft; crane lifts of 80 lbs and over.
  • Available to work any shifts.
  • Must be able to work overtime with little or no notice.
  • Must be team oriented and work well with others in order to obtain company goals.
  • Must have good housekeeping skills.

Job Title:

Tooling/Process Engineer

Summary:

Design, develop and advance PVC/Polymer extrusion processes.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSBILITIES

  • Responsible for capital acquisition and implementation of equipment, facility modifications, and process improvements.
  • Interface with manufacturing and compound teams to improve product quality and production line efficiency.
  • Directly responsible for Research & Development for all ES Robbins Corp. products while providing technical support on manufacturing projects.
  • Responsible for evaluating warranty issues for ES Robbins Corp. as a whole.
  • Maintain technical development and improve installation techniques for product lines within ES Robbins Corp.

Qualifications:

  • EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Engineering degree preferred. Experience or concentration in PVC/Polymer sheet/film extrusion processing and tooling. Minimum of 5 years experience in manufacturing environment. Knowledge of plastic additives, fillers, pigments, polymer blends, polymer composites, blow molding, and injection molding a plus.
  • COMPUTER SKILLS: Microsoft Office Suite, particularly MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint, MS Outlook, MS Visio, MS Project and Internet Explorer. AutoCad Inventor version 6.0 or above.
  • COMMUNICATION SKILLS: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to coordinate activities of cross-functional teams effectively and communicate project status' and time lines.
  • ORGANIZATIONAL: Superior planning and organizational skills.
  • APTITUDES: Solid analytical skills. Strong management Team focus.
